Funds raised at this event are donated to the Hand in Hand Program at Children’s Hospital and Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. This program provides physical, emotional, social and spiritual support to families with children that have life limiting or life threatening illnesses. The program works to provide the best possible quality of life for patients and their families from diagnosis through bereavement.
Last year, through donated raffle items and cash donations, the Easton Memorial Poker Run raised over $4000 bringing the year to date donation to the Hand in Hand Program to $12,000! We are in the process of collecting donated items for the raffle and auction, as well as accepting any cash donations. If you would like to donate to the Hand in Hand program, please complete the attached Donation Form. With your generous contribution, we know we can surpass last year’s donations! The Second Annual Easton Memorial Poker Run benefiting The Hand in Hand Program at Children's Hospital will be held June 5th 2010 at The Firebarn in Waterloo, Nebraska. This year's activities include the Poker Run with registration beginning at 10am to noon, live entertainment including three outdoor bands beginning at 3pm, raffle prizes, silent auction, food, drinks and fun!
